There is a lot of games left in the SEC and a lot of teams are going to start knocking each other out. its very likely SEC ends up with no undefeated teams or just Georgia and the team they play in the SEC Championship has 2 losses.

However, we need to cut down on all the ME's before I'll believe we can run the table.

Kiffin cost a lot.
Our players getting paid a lot.

In this modern age, we expect results quickly And Kiffin has all he could ever want and need to build a team that can beat ole miss and Kentucky.

Fans are reacting exactly as they should

Everyone seems to forget. Kiffin didnt get anyone he wanted in the portal. He got who he could and who he wanted that was available. Elite linemen dont go into the portal often. We got the best one out there. He needs guards and a rt. Till you fix that its going to be a struggle.

Oh and every other team is dropping bags on every player out there too

But we have Kiffin. The best coach that could have been gotten. He got massive money to buy players.

So taking into consideration all you posted, did we overpay for coach and portal players?

I disagree here to an extent. He came to LSU so that he wouldn't have to gamble every 4th down and rely on finally having a comparable defense.

LSU lost to Kentucky…..Yes…..Kentucky. I don’t care if it was an away game or played on the damn moon.

Take away the punt return (which should've been called back anyway) and the bust of the very first play of the game, and we cover the spread in this game.

Sucks to lose, but that's football, especially at night on the road in the SEC against a well-coached team.

I predicted 10-2 or 9-3. Will be very hard to get to to 10-2, but 9-3 still possible because we have Bama and Texas at home. Both are beatable at home in Tiger Stadium.

I don't think 9-3 gets in the playoffs, but that wouldn't be too upsetting. Injuries, 1st year coach, etc. That's a respectable season.

Overpay? No. We payed the market rate. Now whether that is what it should be? I dunno. But we payed for the best talent we could find
