Joe (Burrow) makes is all go. Reminds me of 2012 Manziel at A&M.

Except, I recall one game that season where Manziel basically disappeared.

And to be clear … Burrow is 1,000 percent better than Manziel. But the momentum he creates is like a tidal wave.”

Ain't that the truth.

Was this quote before or after the OU game? If after, these are simply the words of incompetence.

I mean, if you read the rest of this quote, there is context and the guy doesn't sound salty at all. It's quite complimentary actually and gives good insight into why Jefferson has been so productive.

I agree with this. Jacoby does really well covering TEs and RBs. This will translate well into the NFL

isn't Stevens the guy who was running step for step with CeeDee Lamb?? I know he gave up the catch, but it was a great throw, and great catch. Regardless, he was right there.

Well, how did that go for you, corch?

You realize that anonymous and going on record are mutually exclusive?

They know it's being published, just their names are covered up, although I would bet it's not hard to figure out who said what among coaching circles if any of this is actually true. Hence what I said SOMEWHAT anonymous, not really totally.

Again, still highly doubt they are sitting down asking big time coaches these questions and they are getting these answers. It's just dumb to do that.

I'm not saying the assessment on Stevens is right or wrong, but heavy-leggedness speaks more to quickness than speed.

Fulton) is just average. He is overly aggressive. I think (Clemson WR Tee) Higgins can get him

Then why was every Team we played this year afraid to attack him?

Average CBS don’t make an entire side of the field non-existent.

The fact that Stingley our up such incredible numbers this year is in part because Fulton forced teams to go his way.

The other defensive coordinator sounded less optimistic. “I thought we did things the right way,” he says. “We probably tried to tweak things a little too much. We were doubling Chase and bracketing Edwards-Helaire with our linebackers and playing that into spy on Burrow. But the game just goes a little too fast. There were a few times early we kinda stopped the play but it still turned into a plus-30 because Joe just did something.

“What would I do differently? Just not play ’em.”

Soooo...

Coaches who have been wrong about Coach O &LSU for years vent to writers who have been wrong about Coach O & LSU for years.

And no one has to put their name behind their petty BS.

Right. Got it.

Jefferson isn't elite?? His play and stats say otherwise. Not one team has shut him down. Hell, they couldn't shut him down last year when our offense was mediocre and the other WRs were almost non-factors.

Given how much liability there is on the field, it's hard to believe LSU beat the dogshit out of the SEC this year

It's a Bruce Feldman article, so you are probably correct. The guy is almost as bad as Thammel.

If the players aren't any good, it must be the coaches and the program.

IF all this is true then that would mean we have a better coaching staff that we thought

He should have been banned for chronic stupidity, but then again, that would wipe out a majority of the Rant.

hes not wrong here... and hes not the best of coverage guys, but thats not what he brings to the table... hes great down close to the line of scrimmage in run support..
