depends on the OC but should be the odds on favorite. Not going to discount anyone in that QB room yet though and its a good problem to have

Nussmeier will be like 3 years of Burrow.

At this point both the freshman have near the same amount of in game experience so I dont get why he should be just given the job

Myles Brennan. I don't even want an open competition if I'm being honest. It's his job unless injured

I will give you my 10,000 foot view.

Johnson apparently has the IT factor. He brought the team from behind both games he started and won.

Brennan, while I think is better passer, does not have the IT factor. He had two of his three starts with the opportunity to bring the team from behind in the final minutes and failed both times.

Finley, is a good passer but also does not have IT. He also has shown the problem of extending plays to the other team in crunch time.

He’s not, unless Brennan is hurt. If people are that upset about it, then feel free to let him have a QB competition with Brennan, which he will lose.

Max just seems like a qb that if he has a decent defense around him, will win 95% of his games in college. Brennan’s ceiling maybe a bit higher but I think with Max’s running ability and his ball security, he will win more games.

Myles Brennan will, and should be, the starter. My God how a short a memory some of you have. Max will be very good. But Brennan was on record breaking pace before he got hurt. With a record breakingly BAD defense. The only reason those games were even somewhat close was because of Myles abilities as a passer. He sure as shite didn't have time to throw, and he sure as hell didn't have a running game to lean on.

It’ll be Myles. I just wish he would show more emotion and leadership.

Well, Myles obviously has seniority. We will have to see how he recovers.

Max has the best mobility and pocket presence.

IMO TJ has the best arm, almost like Jamarcus, but lacks mobility.

So far 16 out of 16 don’t. He will not start over Brennan

I really dont care. Let the best player play but if he progresses like most freshmen do after playing a year. You might not be able to keep him off the field as he might just be the best QB in the SEC next year.

This is my biggest argument for Johnson. Max is a winner. Idc how it looks or seems, he wins. Myles is a better passer, but Max's ability to extend plays is a big plus.

I think it's a two horse race though, and Finley transfers after spring.
