Brennan takes the first snap to open next season vs UCLA if he's healthy. But he better light it up and take care of the football because that leash is going to be awful short.

Max does NOT throw a good deep ball! Overthrows guys constantly on the sideline go routes. Myles had this thing humming and has a gorgeous deep ball!

Max needs a year refining accuracy, getting better, and learning the film watching routine!

Competition, no crowns for anyone.

Best man should start. Love MB but he is very vanilla and do not think the team responds to him as well as Max

Not saying he is t but, there’s going to be a serious battle for the job. May the best man win.

Brennan was awful against Mississippi State and couldn’t convert a single third down against Missouri. I don’t know why people think he’s so great

Agree, Brennan has limited mobility, poor field vision and no pocket presence. .

Brennan has happy feet, Max makes quicker decisions, not always the best, but better than sacks and INts. Max just needs to leads rec more and throw them open like Joey B

Again Myles has done nothing to lose the starting position and people to start anointing Max the starter. TJ is nothing more than a younger version of Jamarcus Russell to me. If I were a betting man, I’d place my bet, before 2021 season is over, TJ transfers.

who looked better in limited action

He put up 11 passing TD’s in three games but I’d still take max johnson over him going forward.

Marched them right down the field and the O-line couldn’t get a push to gain less than a yard. Not Myles fault.

Yes it is. If he could not line up under center and sneak the ball in then he should have taken himself out of the game. WWJBD...he would have lined up under center and sneaked it in before they got set.

Depends on 2 things
1) if Brennan can come back completely healthy from his injury, he’ll be the starter
2) is nussmeier the alpha dog, comes in and beats Max out if Brennan can’t play

I think it's whoever wins the job in the Spring, assuming there is a Spring.
If there's a new coordinator it's going to be whoever grasps the offense and runs it the best.

Before the season started, O didn't sound that sold on Brennan but he was only option. Now we have at least two viable starters and possibly a third with Nussmeir. I think the coaches have seen what TJ can do. He didn't really progress.

There will be and should be a QB competition between 14 and 15. They both deserve that shot.

And 11.

He’s Brandon Harris 2.0. FACT.

Starting Brennan in 2021 and riding him the way we did with Harris in 2015 would set the program back at least two years. Don’t do it.

Tell you on thing... we’ve got two guys who can flat out ‘ball’. Good with either but lean to Brennan.
