Maury star quarterback EJ Gibson likes a challenge. So he’s headed to LSU as a walk-on.
21-2 with a 4.2 if nothing else he can take a snap from center and hand the ball to a rb lol.

Would mean we have an extra scholarship but you are still only allowed to bring in 25 (or whatever number you are allowed after back counting, etc.) every year. Doesn’t matter how many scholarship players leave the program.

It’s not Brennan’s throwing arm. Tape him up and go with it. Archie Manning did it at Ole Miss. kids today are soft. The pins will hold it together if he gets hit.

Maryland had this nightmare scenario a couple years ago if I remember correctly. Didn’t go super well for well for them I think.

That implies that Max either A) Sucks, or B) gets hurt himself. We should hope Max lights it up, stays healthy, and keeps the job.
The thread is about backup QB’s. He was pointing out that we won’t be down to 2 QB’s if/when Brennan returns.
If Max never gets hurt or plays poorly, then it doesn’t matter how many backups we have.

This. There is also a cutt-off date beyond which transfers are not eligible for the current season and we are well past that. Even if we had a spot left out of the 25, we still couldn’t use it.
