We won the Bama game on a special teams play (2 point conversion). CBP may not be the worst.

I usually cringe when people on here make speak in absolutes.

That said, I can absolutely guarantee you that there was nothing about that conversion that involved special teams, nor did Brian Polian have absolutely anything to do with that play call, play design, or personnel package, or the decision to go for 2. Well, unless Kelly chose to take into account the fact Polian's inept preparation had already cost us one game and he wasn't about to risk having another game end on a special teams frick up.

Starting QB was trash vs Ark, A&M, and UGA. Offense was not as productive (points scored) as it needed to be. Too many sacks and not enough plays down field. Pretty simple, really

I like to be positive but we would have lost to Arky if Jefferson had started.

We aren't diverse in how we attack the defenses and other teams figured that out.

LSU puts up more points & yards on the best defense in CFB 2 years running

BUT U say teams figured out our shitty scheme. See how silly you sound?

Misleading: We only scored 10 points in the 1st half (JD)…..so yeah. GA had JD figured out…..

I enjoyed watching Jd play this season
He seems to be a great person. Unless we want a repeat of this season, we will need a change at QB

It’s happened before after beating Alabama. Left it all on that field.

True; however, I read that we didn't sub much in the A&M game and during the UGA game there were times UGA subbed on offense and we didn't on D. Even the commentators mentioned it. Maybe some of the depth was banged up.

It's simple. The roster didn't have the depth to keep up a high level of play. LSU's healthy starting 22 would be a handful for any team in the country. Their front line talent wasn't that great by LSU standards but they were a salty bunch. But the roster just didn't have the depth to overcome injuries.

And from an X's and O's standpoint teams sold out against stopping Daniels and Perkins.

With the exception of the bama game we never really played a solid 60 min. IDK why fans think the team regressed. We basically played that way the whole year but made comebacks in the 2nd half. Great year for what we really had in a new staff, new players and lack of depth.

People think Ark and A&M were terrible teams...they were not as bad as you think.

Figured out that JD5 is mediocre at best if you take his legs away. At least a spy, sometimes 2, and force him to throw.

This seriously took the air out of our offense.

First off, I think Perkins may be the most dynamic defensive player in the nation but against aTm and Georgia, the QB'S skillsets didn't fall into the strengths of what Perkins does best. They had to utilize him more as a traditional LB and that actually hurt the defense as a whole. This, coupled with defenses scheming JD, depth issues on DL and injuries in the secondary really hurt this team in the last 2 games.

The team was tired.
that's understandable after Bama (emotionally and physically). But after Arky, we should've been back firing on all cylinders.

Other teams manage to get through 12 games. No excuse for us to quit playing after 9. I mean, we gave full effort in the 13th game, so the ability was there.

Now yes, I realize we have less depth, but that's no excuse. Not at all.

Maybe so but good teams don’t do that. They stay consistent every week.
