So what's gonna be the national media's excuse when we beat Clemson worse than Miami?

As of right now, the media wants you to think us destroying Clemson for 4 quarters means nothing.
But what's gonna be the narrative once Miami doesn't exactly blow them out of the water?

It would be great if Clemson could somehow pull off that upset. Would be glorious. But it won't happen, their offense can hardly move the ball offensively.

Well for starters we got them at night at home. Miami has to travel to Clemson and play at night hope this helps

The media is definitely not giving us our due credit so far, but I don’t think this topic would be a good example of it. Different situations.

They are at home, have a long week, and their defense hasn’t given up a touchdown in 7 quarters.
Their offense while not stacking up points has moved the ball except for the game against us.

Will need to split screen LSU and Clemson games
It’s an extreme longshot but I’ll be rooting hard for Clemson and will be tuned in to that as long as it’s competitive.
If Clemson gets to 4-1 with a win over a top 5 team and nothing but nobody’s left on their schedule they’re all of a sudden considered an inevitable playoff team that LSU beat the shite out of

Well, Wake and Wisconsin pulled off upsets, so why not Clemson?
Don't really feel one way or the other about the Fightin' Dabos, but I'd like for them to pull this one out. We'd get a twofer: Our beatdown of them would look better, and it would put an L on Miami.
That said, I don't think it will happen (said while busily invoking voodoo chants to help Clemson....)

I was gonna make fun of you for this because in my mind there's like a 90% chance this is a blowout. But then I remembered Cristobal is the coach and he always seems to have a headscratcher game or two every year against an inferior opponent. On the road at Clemson with Clemson having extra rest seems as logical a spot for the annual hiccup as any.

Clemson doesn’t even have to win. Just don’t get blown out and that would be enough lol
