Brody would have never ever got an offer from LSU out of high school. For goodness sake he ended up at Northwestern State

With a little success, he dumps Northwestern for the money. Gotta love NIL.

Not sure. I’ve looked to see and can’t find anything on him committing to Texas.

He hasn't. There is wide and reputable speculation that he will be, but nothing is official yet.

Believe it or not, LSU isn't the only school with money.

Some of y'all have no clue how bidding works and it's become evident.

A lot of sec teams losing a lot of talent
LSU can’t get them all and players are going to ensure playing time

I know you’ll hate to hear this because this was a disaster season, but after getting Hood and Park LSU only needs about 2-3 more portal pitchers and 2-3 outfielders/hitters to be a championship level team. They aren’t getting 15 guys out the portal this year.

Not many teams will be returning bats or arms with experience like Arrambide, Serna, Braun, Ruckert, Schmidt, Moore, Evans and Paz.

Yes, this is most definitely the answer.

I’m hearing we offered Brody 750k to come to LSU. 750k is already WAY MORE than I would want to pay for a guy whose arm is pulled pork right now. And apparently Tennessee is DOUBLING that which would be 1.5 million. Do you really want to waste 1.5 million on him? No man. We don’t.

Or maybe we offered the same and the kid chose another school.

Or maybe we offered more and the kid still chose another school.

None of those things are overly concerning.

Does the OP think LSU needs to be the absolute top spender to win?

This. It's wild that there are so many people that think that it's impossible for players to just want to play at another school for whatever reason. There is a select group of fans that just can't imagine why any football or baseball player would want to play somewhere else and that they are dumb for not coming to LSU. They think that the only reason someone wouldn't come to LSU is because they were offered more money somewhere else.

Considering your post history of a grand total of 6 at this point; I'm calling bullshite teams throwing around 7+ figures for a guy like Trosclair coming off a UCL surgery

Teams arent paying guys $1.5M in college baseball, ESPECIALLY a guy from a small school and doesnt even know if he'll be bale to pitch next season

I've never understood this fascination with post count being tied to reliability. If anything, there are plenty more examples of an inverse relationship there.

Maybe this guy knows the Trosclairs. There are plenty of folks who know them in the southeast part of the state.

And is Brody already committed to Tennessee? I also don't see why anyone would be concerned about UCL surgery and recovery in this day and age.

I would venture to guess that anyone that actually knows them isn't putting numbers out there like this.

It wasnt the post count as much as claiming he got offered $1.5M which is outrageous for a small school pitcher who just had UCL surgery back in April But with the post count comment, it is VERY common people just create an alter.troll account to do this type of stuff.

He is trying to avoid having full TJ but no idea how he will even respond next season to the surgery he just had, very very risky take; especially if you blow your whole budget on him
