Don't you know, that's the mission statement of the Tiger Rant. It's all anti-O, anti-Joe, anti-Pomansky all the time.

Consider petitioning Chicken to set up a new forum, if you're tired of the "bash O" rhetoric. Maybe call it an "Offbeat Tiger Football forum", or "The Fifth Quarter".

Not really. We're playing with house money. If it works out, then we all win.

The Orgeron loyalists are the ones who will be stuck if Alleva's grand experiment fails.

I think you and I are in the same boat. We know the expectations (10 wins being the floor, etc.) and we’re gonna cheer our Tigers on, take it game by game, and wait and see how it comes out. I wasn’t and still am not a fan of the O hire in the least bit and I’ve let it be known on this board several times and truth be told I don’t see it ending well at all. BUT I’m not gonna write this season off just yet and look forward to having to eat some crow. I guess cautiously optimistic would best describe my attitude.

That being said

The same can be said of the big time O Pumpers.

Anyways
to having some form of football from tonight til February and college and our Tigers kicking off in a few short weeks.

it's not factually based on how bad coach O is; it's about what he was at ole miss. and his accent; and his raspy voice, etc, etc

there is no objectivity in a lot of people and many are very vocal on here. they do not want to give O a chance to succeed.

on the other hand, he is certainly not perfect. and, there are many posters on here that are indeed willing to let O's career play out before trashing him and damn near everything else about LSU.

I find them amusing. Probably just a bunch of football wannabes like Uncle Rico (Napoleon Dynamite). Living vicariously.

I fricking hate a mother fricker that thinks a fan is supposed to be a delusional follower. Orgeron was a terrible hire whether you want to believe it or not.

Yes, no facts there. Just happens to be his HC resume running a program.

And yes, Louisiana people just hate Louisiana people with accents and stuff. Lmao.

If by objectivity you mean lack of denial, spot on.

But it is. We're not inventing his failures as a head coach out of nothing. It's all documented and available for the world to see.

False. The skeptics are often the most objective because they want to judge Orgeron on his career in totality. Often, his biggest supporters here say they "don't care about the past".

Orgeron has his chance to prove himself, so this is his year to do it.

Facts aren't trashing, and his career is being played out, albeit imperfectly, like you said. It's silly to expect silence concerning those imperfections though.

Actually I think I'll stay here and remind you all that he was 9-30 or whatever it was at ole miss and should never have been hired here.

I know you are being sarcastic about him getting fired but in all likelihood he will be fired after 2019 or midway that season. The deck is just stacked against him, too many really good coaches in the SEC for him to compete against.

So when Orgeron gets shite canned will you follow him to his next job as a DL coach somewhere?

Aren't you the guy who just posted

Sounds like you should follow another team. Or are you the only one allowed to complain on here?

And here you are bitching about a former coach

quote:

The passing game under Les Miles:
1) put our QBs in bad situations, ie. 3rd and 8, 3rd and 12 . 2) usually had two man routes 3) consisted of play fake (which considering the down and yards needed was a waste of time 4) total lack of imagination and no element of surprise. Woody Hayes football revisited.

For someone who wants to dictate how others process LSU footabll, you sure do complain a lot about LSU football.

Yeah, a lot of folks here despise O. I kind of like the ole bastard as a person and would always wish good for him. We've certain expectations for LSU Football, though, and he is on thin ice without question. He's got to get the program back into the hunt and quickly. I'm hoping he will, and I'm kind of thinking or feeling that he will. He'll have these next 2 seasons to get us to the cutting edge, and that is fair. If he steps on his dick, he's gone; it's just that simple. But I agree folks need to stop harping on the doomsday. We've got Aranda and Burrow, and Ensminger insists he's going to get this offense rolling. I'm excited and hoping for the best.
