So tired of hearing, on this board, how bad Coach O is.

If you don't like him follow a team whose coach you do like. Come back after he's fired, which according to you is 1) after 4 games, 2) after this season, 3) blah blah blah. We wont miss you.

You just started a thread that is going to invite people to dispute your statement which is going to bring more people telling you how bad they think he is. These threads do more for what you don't want to hear than it does to stop it.

For most fans, LSU is bigger and more important than the coach. Seemingly, you think the coach should be more important. That's your perspective, but it seems Ed O winning is more important to you than LSU winning.

Nobody on this board has a clue how this season will turn out, including me. I see some hopeful signs, a lot of em actually. But I shy away from absolutes.
A lot of the doomsayers have completely painted themselves in a corner.
As I said before, I understand having an opinion, I even understand feeling strongly about it. What I do not, and never will understand is, not allowing for the fact they might be wrong.
The Rant's gonna be a fun place after the season.

He had the opportunity to fix that last year...he didn’t get it done.

I believe he has done an outstanding job rebuilding this roster which had huge holes in it. He is recruiting very well. He went 6-2 his first year n sec play with 5 road games. Couple of rough losses but hell of a job rebounding. He has LSU heading in a good direction. He will win 10 this year with a tough schedule and go into 2019 season a top 10 team

These threads always get me because all it does is end up in retaliation of the other side, which prompts more threads to defend their position which turns the cycle over again

The posters that point out O was a terrible hire and a complete knee-jerk reaction from Alleva still want LSU to win. So if O is successful - better than Miles should define that success - then really it's a win-win. "Oh shite, I was wrong by judging on facts, O defied all normal thought process, LSU wins! Good job O!"
