The Oline excuse is becoming pathetic. Max has a lot more time than you morons claim he does
Lol ok guy who apparently hasn't watched 1 fricking game.

. This isn’t a great Oline by any means but you guys have decided that you’re gonna scape goat them and Peetz and O and whoever you need to as long as it feeds into a preconceived narrative no matter if it’s true or not.
Preconceived narrative?

It's stats jackass. Cold hard numbers.

Apples and oranges outside of a comparison to 2019. You can’t compare what he is doing to any other QB but burrow or Brennan.
The frick?

Why can't he be compared to 2013 Mettenberger or 2017 Etling?

What about to every other single QB in the country?

He's currently leading the SEC in TDs and 5th in the country.

He's a victim of his success because you slap dicks don't know football.

So add those two games to get a better idea of hus per game average. It would be better.

The fact that you have the balls to say that this Oline hasn't been that bad and it's Max's fault and not Peetz or the Oline is hilarious.

Honestly are you trolling?

Well that’s because I actually know what I’m watching unlike you but thanks for confirming what I said about blaming everything and everyone else. Ignorance is so easy to predict.

Blaming what?

Blaming him leading the SEC in TDs or being 5th in the country?

Or blaming him on pace to have the 2nd best season in LSU history?

Exactly what am I blaming on who?

If you've watched the games you've seen how much he's been pressured.

Let me ask you this - how many of our Olineman do you think will be drafted this year? I mean like you said "they're not that bad"

but continue complaining about him not playing the way you like while he continues to lead the conference in scoring passes.

Lmfao, you’re telling me you forgot what you just posted in your last 2 posts even though you can still read them? Not only are you not a serious person you’re obviously disingenuous.

Max is playing extremely well everything considered. He's been getting little help from his wideouts and offensive line. IMO, him putting up big numbers is a huge negative though. It means what it has meant through three games so far.

No run game, no balance. And against SEC teams, probably playing from behind.

Thread starts- Max is having an all time season
you- stop blaming the oline because Max is panicking and isn't good
me- Here's the stats where he's really good
you- strawman, bullshite, balls-in-mouth gargling noise

Do you just make things up then turn around and project in every one of your post or just when your insecurity kicks in?

No, we’ve faced 3 bad teams but you’ve decided to project a comparison to better numbers vs an unprecedented schedule and claim they’re the same thing. If you wanna continue on in your delusion that’s fine but don’t get your panties in a twist because someone else lives in reality.

Because Mett had to sit his arse under center for 2 downs and watch Hill carry the ball before throwing to those 2 receivers. The offense was NOT RPO AT ALL. Why the frick do you think people were clamoring for Miles to be fired? So you compare offensive systems. Tommy Hodson was FAR better than this kid at their same point in development.

in the OP IT DIDN'T MENTION OTHER QBs. It was stats of former LSU QBs. If you’re saying the game hasn’t changed, you’re a fricking moron.

Against McNeese and CMU. He looked like shite against UCLA and it wasn’t all on the Oline. He has to quicker getting the ball out and frickING KEEP THE BALL AND RUN ONCE IN A WHILE HIMSELF VERSUS HANDING IT OFF.

Max has 258 attempts in 5 starts
Mett had 296 the entire 2013 season

But he sees no contextual difference in the comparison

Brennan was also on pace to have the 2nd best LSU passing season ever last year.

Lotta ball left to be played. But max will be fine if the oline can be half way decent.

I sure hope he does and it computes to wins but in all fairness to all the guys before Burrow, they weren’t in systems that allowed them to attempt the amount of passes that Burrow nor Johnson are getting to attempt.

These are total attempts for these guy’s careers at LSU
Davey- 478
Flynn- 437
Mett- 659
Russell-797
Burrow-906
If Johnson just averages the 36/ game he has now, he would attempt 432 passes just this year. Possibly some of the aforementioned could produce big numbers too in similar systems but we will never know. Kudos to Johnson though, he showed marked improvement against CMU and I think Peetz not doing the check with me’s helped and made him more instinctual.

You think this pace keeps up against 8 SEC defenses?

Joe Burrow had 16 TDs and 5 INT in 2018. That turned out OK. Max already has 11 TDs as a true Soph. He. Is. Going. To. GEt. Better.

But, I guess you are one of those Nuss fans that think we should start a true Frosh who has completed 3 passes.
