So it was okay for Saban and Oates to do it at Bama but not ok for LSU?

It wasn't okay for Oates to do it, and Saban never tried it as far as I know.

My assumption is that he's referring to bringing in guys with ties to domestic professional teams.

The only wrong Saban did was pay players under the table at Bama.

Didn’t Nate Oates sign that G league player?

ESPN completely buried the story

Yes, and then Sankey shut it down just like this situation.

Finebaum says there is a difference between G League and NFL on radio show. He buried it too.

I respect Saban, but I don't think that is true.

People are downvoting you because they think you're saying he didn't pay players.

But I agree with you that I don't think him paying players is the only wrong thing he did.

You are making up shite, Saban never brought in guys from the NFL. He had processes in place that made his players look like professionals. It's crazy how you guys would want an asterisk by a championship title instead of earning it.

Oates tried but failed. Saban never tried. The SEC has been consistent and has never allowed a player in the named categories to return.

Wright would have been the first and that is not happening. Any continued claptrap about this topic by the coaches or fans does nothing but disrupt the pending season.
