LSU was a fallback job in case nothing developed elsewhere - something better did. That's that. Wasn't it reported earlier that he wasn't even going to do anything on the field rather just advise?

The gospel truth is he's been reading the Rant in his transition period, and determined LSU football is a sh*tthole and not a good investment of his talents.

You are one of the idiots saying that he was a bad hire and Coach O doesn't know what he is doing. The Cowboys disagree.

Meh, was never really hyped about bringing him in.

He was Bama's OC in 2011 and 2012. Remember the horrendous play calling in tGotC?
Finally got into makeabke FG range? wildcat pass.
OT, 3rd down, on edge of kickers range? Drop back and risk a sack.

Also, except for when Chavis went first to beat the hot dog line and then the bathroom line, they stunk it up in 2012 too.

I’m sure there are better people that LSU could hire to be an Offensive analyst, and certainly better than Doug Nussmier.

I don't think you understand the pool of coaches that typically take analyst roles. Having a guy with his experience is very rare. Dude hasn't just been failing up for 20 years to get the jobs he has.

All of you.constant nega-Tigers should STFU. He got an on the field coaching and much higher paying position with the most profound brand in football. 99% of coaches would take this over a consultants role.
