You guys keep saying this. This was not on play calling. Prove it. What calls were bad?
I can think of one poor call. The majority of the poor play was on bad decisions by Nuss, inaccurate throws, and the Oline playing poor.
That is just it. The village idiots make this argument because it is the go to for the ignorant. Any play can be called the wrong call if the defense executes and does their job. Just because a play doesn't work doesn't mean it is the wrong call. Sometime the defense just make a great play. Sometimes a play doesn't your player gets beat athletically. On the flip side sometime a bad call works because a player makes it work or the defense breaks down. Most I disregard someone if that is their first go to in a argument.

I don’t know if it’s Sloan or BK, but whoever is calling plays needs to not be doing that any longer.

All of these weapons and we only score 23 points vs La Tech

Sloan is the biggest weakness on the offense. Wide receiver is a problem, too many guys dropping passes. The play calling is predictable, even when La Tech was cheating up on the line, Lsu ran the ball. Also, running Berry up the gut every play is dumb. Nuss is not the problem, yeah, he's no Joe Burrow, but the play calling sucks and is mostly telegraphed.

I have criticized Sloan at least as much as anyone here, BUT Sloan is NOT the problem. He tried the wildcat one time as I've suggested...he has called INNOVATIVE shuffle passes and runs to the WR coming around...he has tried screens which I begged for last season. Nnnnooo, Sloan is NOT losing the LOS. The LSU OL is losing the LOS. The fact that really the only two memorable plays running the last 2 weeks by the RBs are two "misdirection" plays. Durham (Clemson) and Berry (La Tech) both had huge runs where they were almost tackled and spun around and then ran to the other side of the field. Misdirection type runs work...but just handing off and saying "we are going to move you off the LOS or open holes" has been a total failure. Sloan is NOT to blame for losing the LOS.
As everyone says, D J Chester is not an SEC caliber starting center. He isn't even a C-USA starting center. The only thing that Sloan hasn't tried now that I can think of is the old LSU and USC toss pitch that used to be years ago the standard LSU running play. If they know how to run that now, forget the RPO crap which isn't working because the RB is too near the LOS and LSU is losing that. Do the toss pitch to the RB and let them have the same opportunity as the WR do to try to find an opening SOMEWHERE along the LOS...not just where the play is supposed to go.

Well I don’t know what offensive line you watched last night because the one I saw got there asses whipped ! And your dumb for saying nuss can’t throw it deep seen him several times drop it in the bread basket so stop with this bull shite that he can’t throw deep !

Agree with you. Last night was not on Sloan.
Nuss had a bad game with decisions and accuracy. I believe he will bounce back. Sloan didn't blow a touchdown to Brown. Brown had his guy beat by 5 yards. Nuss threw the ball 5 yards short and got picked. Nuss made bad decisions quite a bit. Throwing to the wrong guy, not taking running lanes that were there. The sack near the end of the game summed up his night - he had plenty of time on the rollout and just held the ball to get sacked by a defender that took forever to get to him. Nuss was "off".
I saw several whiffs by RBs that missed their blocks causing negative plays.
Tre Green missed a block that resulted in a sack.
Several drops by receivers.
Oline had a below average night.
I put the poor play on execution! And believe we will clean it up next week, although the center spot is going to step up until Moore is back. I am hoping Echols shows enough this week to get the start against Florida. Chester is not an SEC center..

We poached a great DC in Blake Baker and can’t seem to find a stud OC and promote a guy with zero experience.

Because we called a vanilla game vs La Tech? Lol

We need knowledgeable stud fans. You know very little about football offense.

Love it or hate it.....CBK is one of these "get up for moment" kinda "don't peak too soon" coaches.
Posted on 9/7/25 at 3:41 pm to 24chevrolet48
Sloan is burdened with a bi polar QB

People who have never coached, played, played or even reffed games are the experts according to the Rant

Any of you experts like the calls on offense against that Clemson defense or is ball control not important in a game. 36 plus minutes vs La Tech too!!

From what I understand BK is pretty much the OC, I don't think Sloan has any autonomy.
Well then BK is a terrible OC.
