Considering LSU med school would put him either in New Orleans or Shreveport, it would be just a touch difficult to go to class and participate in all of the different obligations that come with being a D1 athlete, just from a pure logistics standpoint. That's not even getting into the time and studying constraints of Med School which blow the constraints of majoring in Kinesiology undergrad out of the water.

He's going to med school at some point, if basketball isn't an option.
It's possible that he's deciding between med school and the NBA (abeit a small shot). But, either way, he'd not be coming back to play basketball at LSU.

I'm hoping that this is a shot at LSU. Skylar is a extremely smart guy, he knows he isn't going to get drafted. He also probably knows he's the least likely to declare. This should be sending off alarms in LSU offices. My hope is this is Skylar saying "yall better get the ball rolling."

Are you serious, why the hell else would he do it? Waters knew he wasn't close to being drafted last year either, they do it to quite literally get feedback from professional scouts on what they could improve on, etc...
