it's off to med school foregoing his sr year anyway

He can't go to LSU med school and play ball? It would definitely be difficult, but I'm sure that is at least a possibility?

Man there are going to be some real broke people here when Will Wade gets canned.

It might be a unprecedented melt.

The whole thing might just crash.

You really are sticking to this?

He wrote a heartfelt goodbye to get feedback?

After reading that, I'd say there's at least a 50/50 chance he returns. The only commitment he makes in that post is that he's declaring. Its definitely possible he could be testing the waters, get some feedback, and decide to return.

I mean listening to his postgame interview last week I expected this. Wouldn’t be surprised if he isn’t the last. Rantards will jump to melt because of everything else with Wade going on. Let’s see how it plays out. I think he’ll be back. Next year would be he and Wayde’s senior year.

Again, you're jumping to conclusions that dont exist, he never says "goodbye" in it.

He says thanks for last 3 years and that he's declaring, that's about it. No mention of an agent even.

A lot of people would lol at majoring in pre-med and playing SEC ball

Not saying he'd do that or it would be a smart decision, just that you can technically play ball as a graduate student

In my opinion he is getting graded out. Why not? We know how he feels about school and getting his degree but why not get a perspective form the NBA on where you fit in the draft and what you need to work on perhaps?

Now I am not a basketball draft guru so the below projections may or may not take into account that they were published before he declared.

ESPN: Not in the top 100

CBS: Not in the top 75

Him leaving just makes zero sense. He won't be drafted, and he doesn't really seem like the type of kid that would be interested in playing overseas. From my understanding, he wants to go to med school. That's not really something you put off for a couple years while playing overseas.

Academics are his top priority so if he's leaving that means he ready or close to being ready to move on academically.
