RIP to a true LSU legend. Your impact on LSU baseball and the entire Tiger family will never be forgotten. Thank you for the memories, the championships, and for building something truly special. Geaux Tigers. Forever LSU.

Skip will always be my favorite LSU coach. He brought joy and dominance in a time when our Football team sucked and brought LSU baseball and College Baseball to life. R.I.P. to the GOAT! You will be missed.

I think Skip thought like Sachel Page about life:
"Never let your head hang down. Never give up and sit down and grieve. Find
another way. And don't pray when it rains if you don't pray when the sun shines."
--Sachel Paige
RIP Coach!

Rest in Peace to a legend. He is one of the old guards that made college baseball what it is today. While he brought pain to my Aggies, he has my great respect.

I’m going to be honest, this brought about tears for me. The world lost a great one.

Say it ain’t so. Rest in peace Coach. I’ll always remember listening to the games on the radio and hearing them practice with my window open in my apartment on Nicholson Drive. A huge part of Tiger Nation has left campus for one last time.

Got to meet him once.
Went to game in Starkpatch back in 01 or so and managed to sit in the Bulldog Club section. It was an LSU blowout so by the middle of the fourth quarter, the club was pretty much empty but for us. Skip came over to us, shook our hands, and thanked us for coming to see LSU.
Yup. I shook Skip's hand. There's got to be a guy code section for that somewhere.
Class act.
