Officials from both schools will meet with ESPN on Sunday to discuss moving the game away from Houston’s NRG Stadium. Two potential relocation sites are LSU’s Tiger Stadium or New Orleans’ Mercedes-Benz Superdome. A source told SB Nation both schools are committed to playing the game Saturday in a different city. BYU does not allow its athletic teams to play on Sundays, per university policy in accordance with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Things may have changed physically, but not from a planning stand point. If LSU recognized a potential problem enough to make a statement that they are monitoring things, but did not start making backup plans, then what makes you think they will all of a sudden start to make backup plans over the weekend?

Dude it's on the front page. They are putting backup plans in place now. This ain't Florida. Get over it, your source sucks and is wrong.

Also, it's not bad for the BYU fans who already have flights to just rent a car and drive the 5/6 hours from Houston

I would think that in a case like this most airlines would work with fans flying to the game.

Dallas and Atlanta have been ruled out so options becoming thin. Superdome makes a lot of sense.

Houston airports are going to be under a weather waiver all week. They'll be able to move their flights to MSY without issue.

It would be anything BUT neutral and would screw over our fans. Move it to Dallas for Monday night.

We didn't really bitch when we went up to Green Bay last year to play Wisky.

Enjoy the trip and the game then go home with memories!

Working with the airlines to get them to facilitate the flight changes makes more sense.

You really thought playing LSU in Houston was going to feel "neutral?" Seriously?
