Take this for what it's worth, but she and her company was advised at 0130 this am by the superdome GM (still attending with the aftermath of the Saints game) that they're aggressively going after the LSU game next week. No pics, no link...just take it for what it's worth. Saints play Thursday, not Sunday. Mentioned something that the game needed to be at a neutral site and couldn't be played in Tiger Stadium. Again...TIFWIW

Makes sense. They'd make a ton of money off the game and it would still be a "neutral" site.

Will the Mormons join the guys holding the religious signs in the middle of Bourbon?

The Superdome sucks. No matter where you sit you are a mile from the field and that constant echo due to shitty acoustics!

Best case scenario if BYU agrees.

Provo or a Dallas doubleheader make more sense. BR and NO aren't out of the woods yet.

Does New Orleans want all the BYU fans taking the hotel rooms of other hard drinking tourists?

None of them will come. There'd be like 40,000 LSU fans there.

Isn't Dallas more in danger than NOLA?

Maybe, but the pumps are broken in NO.

Good question...good point. They may be looking at it as being LSU's opener and having the city swamped by Tiger fans. I guess we'll see soon enough.

They're more concerned with LSU fans. They'll make up the difference, them some!
