I booked in Houston at the Sheraton but it was booked nonrefundable. Any hope of the hotel letting me off the hook if the game gets moved? I'm certain those rooms will not go unsold.

I think most LSU fans would be fine with Dallas, Atlanta or even San Antonio, but New Orleans would be more convenient.
Anybody who thinks NO is a true home game for LSU likely has never been to the Dome and for SURE has never been to Tiger Stadium.

Seems like under the circumstances you could get refunded. Just be polite.

it's not bad for the BYU fans who already have flights to just rent a car and drive the 5/6 hours from Houston
Working with the airlines to get them to facilitate the flight changes makes more sense.
And how backed up will Bush and Hobby be? Assuming Hobby will be needed due to Southwest. Not to mention will I-10 between Beaumont and Houston be open? That's basically marshland with plenty of creeks with low bridges once you get outside the 610 loop. I've had to drive up to Woodville a couple times to get out of Houston myself.

Just the idea of getting into Houston, then able to drive out with time to spare seems to be huge question mark to me.

same for me at the Westin via Priceline. Priceline told me that if the hotel agrees to release the reservation, it could be done.

Delta's travel advisory goes thru the 30th, but they let me change my flight destination from H-town to MSY this morning with no problem. I just had to pay the "additional fare". BTW: Coming from Provo (well SLC technically).
