LSU has done enough, Florida wanted the game cancelled and the SEC let them.

That would literally be the dumbest result, unless it was either played in BR or UF payed for the LSU losses. And even then, frick that.

They will move UGA/UF back one week to 10/22 (both have byes this week currently) and LSU/UF will play on 10/29.

WHY SHOULD WE!? frick that!!
why should we give up a home game against a cupcake, to play a team who didn't want to play us when the schedule demanded...to give Florida a home game when they didn't want to give one up when they had every rhyme and reason to!!

South Alabama might be new to football (added football in 2009 and full FBS in 2013) but we're not a typical cupcake. We beat Mississippi State and #19 San Diego State this year.

But if we are a cupcake, can we at least have sprinkles?

I'm not saying I agree with it or think that we should be forced into it.

This would be the way to show that we were more than willing to do what it takes to get this game done. Leave UF holding the bag. At this point unless the SEC forces UF to take the forfeit we will get fricked if we win out and don't play the game against UF.

They should force UF to buy out South Alabama

This would be stupid. LSU and UF could both be eliminated by then and it won't matter and then money is shelled out for no reason. The right approach would be to get on the ball with moving the SEC championship game back a week and leave that week open if this game is needed to be played

This makes a lot of sense.

Why should LSU bend over backwards to help UF or the SEC at this point? LSU - UF on Nov 19 means:
1) LSU loses home game
2) LSU finishes year with 3 straight SEC road games
3) LSU plays at aTm on 5 days rest (really 4 since have to travel on Wednesday)

Best guess
Florida and Georgia move cocktail party up a week.
Both have a bye the following week which Florida exchanges for hosting the make up game on 10/29

That's a lot of moving parts but saves everyone's home game.

SEC writes the check not LSU. Spread it out amongst all teams.
