Could be that they don’t want Travinski smothering Hilliard’s curveballs (injury risk or error risk).

Should it be a forgone conclusion that Travinski should start over Milazzo now that we’ve seen after 20 games Alex is pretty much an auto-out? The defense can’t be THAT much of a fall off to justify not switching right?
Nope. If Travinski starts this weekend it’s as a DH

After this, I’m on board with Milazzo at C and Travinski replacing Beloso at DH Friday

Curve hasn’t been there yet for Hilliard

Beloso will eventually have his hits start landing. We have so many DH options though in the case that doesn’t end up developing consistently.

Sanford has to be smarter there
Posted on 3/16/21 at 8:20 pm to ell_13
Yeah he’s made it a lot harder on Morgan than necessary but so has everyone

A couple of really nice blocks by Wyeth

Yeah, where we are at catcher compared to 2 years ago has dramatically improved

I’ve always wondered what the effect of not playing at all until you get called up to bat has on a DH. It’s been mentioned here and on air by Ben n Lynn surmising why Beloso may be struggling. Who’s to say that won’t happen to Travinski as well?

Was really hoping Hilliard would find it he's just so sporadic. Like a light switch on or off
