Its not about recruiting the players its about seeking the players out and getting them to sue for eligibility. I could see how that might be frowned upon. You can't have a league member actively helping players sue the league over rules.
Ole Miss orchestrated the entire Chambliss lawsuit and colluded with a bought judge to make sure it passed.

The SEC might just have overstepped....I'm waiting for Louisiana's AG, who is a freaking bulldog, to show up in court and defend this.
The SEC is begging for the State of Louisiana to file suit in the 5th federal district for collusion and to enforce anti-trust laws.
This is almost the definition. "We control the market, you can't do what a court of law says is legal, and we want to kick you out because of it."
It was always the "threat" now they're trying to get in front of the court of opinion and the media by doing this.
The elite powers in the SEC (BAMA HOMERS) are scared to death of what LSU can become, and they hate LK on top of it.
What scares them even more, LSU and the state of Louisiana doesn't care.
Obviously this is all opinion, but logically it's now where this is headed. Instead of the SEC just letting it go, as it looks like LSU might, they are escalating. Freaking bully. We hate bullies.

Doing this after we didn’t add the disputed players just shows even more that this is what it’s always been: a giant witch hunt against Lane Kiffin. frick these people.

Are the other schools on board with wasting money on crap like this against another school?
Unequivocally yes.

Pure posturing. They are already sending word through their media lapdogs that they aren't expelling LSU.

I honestly believe this is all about Lane, it’ll end up being a choice of fire Lane or face the lawsuit.
My opinion only and I’d tell them to bring it.

This is risky of Sankey. What if the Big 10 came calling and would infiltrate the South?
Posted on 9/8/26 at 10:43 am to skullhawk
The SEC is scared of what Lane is building!

Wouldn't it be hilarious if the schools told Sankey that they were meeting to talk about expelling LSU and instead they vote to fire his arse.
He fricked this up like Fredo and now they're about to take him out on the boat.

Yeah, Sankey is obviously going after Kiffin for the move, and by extension he’s going after LSU.
He probably hopes LSU will cut bait and terminate Kiffin, but that isn’t happnening.
He’s digging his own grave.

How did all the other schools get their 5 for 5 (TRO) players. Texas? Missouri? Texas A&M? Are they saying CLK "strong armed" players, agents and lawyers to do his bidding? What a clown show Sankey is. He got his feelings hurt in a BR courtroom and he is lashing out.
Funny thing is the lawyer who OWNED him in BR will get him again when the players sue the SEC for damages. frick Sankey!

Assume this is to teach LSU, CLK, and CWW a lesson. Don’t go against the conference period. Also tie us up from rostering those guys for the rest of the year while the suit is pending.
SEC probably wants discovery too so they can get messages of us orchestrating lawsuits and fine us. All of this is dumb and if any SEC member outside of ole miss and tenn vote for this at this point it’s laughable and $ out of there pocket on the next tv deal

I’m sorry but is Trinidad is eligible under NCAA rules
Posted on 9/8/26 at 10:46 am to Cshaw91
Wait, I thought they already had the authority to kick us out. Make it make sense.

Do they? Because they won’t like the skeletons in the closet of the rest of the conference either.
We weren’t the only ones recruiting these guys. Hell, South Carolina signed a kicker who was in a training camp last week.
