the juice isn't worth the squeeze...imagine these guys being ruled ineligible down the road and games they played in are forfeit...what's the point?

for some backups? No. the risk is too great for these cast offs scrubs.

No thanks.

Reading the responses makes me sad for the state of our fan base. This is the correct position.

I am not sure but… if these players won a court date and all the conferences collude against them, sounds like a class action suit and damages could be awarded for lost income. SEC rules are not laws and cannot circumvent laws
I agree that pro athletes should not play. However the ncaa granted foreign euro players eligibility previously and opened that can of worms.

They should look at the records and fire the ones that originally argued not to include the 2022 class.

Well technically non of these players made a NFL roster. So they are not NFL players

Thank you Commissioner Sankey. This conference needs LAW and ORDER no matter what the looneys in California invading our conference have to say

I just don’t see how this holds up. If the logic behind the initial federal ruling is that the players were wronged, and that they were unfairly not granted their fifth year of eligibility, despite the NCAA, knowing about it before the draft and the Spring portal window opened, then logic would follow that they’ve been equally wronged by unfairly missing the Spring window when they were led to believe they were ineligible.

They could easily argue that had they been told back in December about the fifth year, they would have elected to stay in school (this part has already been retroactively fixed) and followed Kiffin to LSU (perfectly fine within the window they unfairly missed).

Just take it back to the exact same judge and make that case, but this time file against the SEC, who also knew about the 5th year but failed to inform the players in a timely fashion

I’m surprised at you NIH.

It’s not like you to be ok with a bunch of boomers being ok with importing Euros to take young American males jobs.

This is a step in the right direction. The insanity has to stop.

No insanity is granting a player who had a sinus infection a 6th year of football.

If LSU keeps these players they may be forfeiting their wins.

And all this is happening for players wanting a fifth year when Chambless is sitting in Oxford, getting ready to play his sixth year of football. I like the five for five deal, and I do believe the ruling today by the SEC is in the right direction, but it makes no damn sense for players who played four years wanting to play five are being told they can’t but yet another player is getting ready to play his sixth year. Help me to understand this.
