That's a stretch. Would the unintended consequence of this be that the NCAA is suddenly granted even more power over the individual conferences?

They didn't foresee this happening. That's why them, and other schools tried to sign these players. In the grand scheme of things, this isn't that big of a deal for football. Basketball might be a different story.

You guys would be losing your shite if Alabama or Georgia were bringing a kid back from the NFL. If a kid is on an NFL roster, he has no business being able to come back and jump on a college team. This shite is beyond ridiculous at this point.

Texas has Hutson… other schools have players who spent summer with NFL teams.

The SEC and Big Ten are NOT subject to the Supreme Court's anti-trust ruling. This is smart and the conferences know it. It's a loser for any school trying to buck the conference...just like Texas Tech.

Call me a conspiracy theorist but Ibelieve Sankey will sic the refs on us if we find a way to play these guys.Let the rule of law and the players sue the shite out of the SEC and BIG1.

The lawyers are trying to tie the NCAA to these rulings because they stand on their own merits. Every school is a voluntary member and agrees to said rulings. It's a loser. That's why they are trying to drag the NCAA into the conference rulings. These players are dust. And rightly so.

LSU joined an organization and its rules. The organization can enforce its rules and if you don't like it, you can leave the organization. Good luck with that.

Isn't Texas? I'm genuinely asking, because I only heard something about Texas doing it in passing. Texas is above Alabama right now? Not upset at it for the guys who were suppose to be 5 for 5. I think it's fine moving forward, but not to enforce against these guys.

He gave up the fight because it wasn’t in state court. The big 12 filed in federal court.
