Their power is against the institutions not the players.

Notice the language. For football, they deny everything, even “other professional football leagues.”
For basketball, it’s limited to NBA, g-league, or WNBA or affiliate. It doesn’t include foreign professional leagues.
Why haven’t they included other sports?
College soccer players, even those on scholarship, can play semipro in the offseason and some have even played professionally overseas. They are mainly washouts, but they got paid
This is exactly why none of it will hold up in court and the rules keep getting challenged.

Alabama must not have signed anyone doing this. Only way this would have passed.
Per DeBoer, he wanted to get one guy back, but Byrne stopped him.

On August 2, 2026, U.S. District Judge Charlotte N. Sweeney in Denver clarified that the injunction did not override existing NCAA roster limits, transfer rules, or revenue-sharing caps, meaning players could only return if schools had available roster spots, eligibility and scholarship/revenue space.
Im reading your posts.
You either simply dont understand, or youre purposely trolling. Theres no way you both truly understand what you're posting AND believe it.

Clears the way for a court fight, one would think. Odd to switch for the official vote after voting yes yesterday.
