OBTW 8-4 is completely unacceptable. We could have had that with Dinardo.

Why does anyone think we will lose to A&M? I don't get that prediction.

I actually agree except I have us beating Florida and losing to UGA.

You are probably right though. Tough to win in the swamp back to back years.

On the road against a team with good athletes and a much better coach.

I think LSU is capable of winning all the games. We’ll see if they do. It’s a big bowl or bust for Orgeron imo.

We're not losing at Florida. We're not beating Georgia. We're not losing to Texas A&M. Auburn and Miss St. Are both toss ups, very well could be switched around. LSU will go 9-3 this season and play in the same type of bowl as they have been in the last few seasons. One of the ones that is the tier down from the new years 6. Fwiw...this is the season we could beat Bama. There is a chance that if our passing Gane really clicks and is among the top 30 overall in terms of yardage through the air, then we could exploit the fact that this is the most inexperienced Bama secondary that Nick Saban has fielded since he was in his first couple years there

I could see things going no worse than 8-4 and no better than 11-1, with 9-3 slightly more likely than 10-2.

I think our most likely loss is at AUB. We can hang with anyone at home when motivated (which I think we will be after last year's start) so the 2nd loss comes to either UGA or ALA.

We are better than every other team on the schedule.

As far as A&M goes, I don't believe they have the weapons outside Ausbon at receiver to really make Jimbo's pro style work. As far as their defense is concerned, Elko is a very good coordinator but they lack depth at lb and secondary.
When I look at Florida, they have talent at the skill positions but they have just as big of a question mark at qb as lsu. A lot of people think Dan Mullen is a qb whisperer, but it's really his system. I find it hard to believe that Franks, Trask, or Jones can run Mullen's offense to the effect that Fitzgerald has.
I see the Florida game being a defensive struggle but Lsu pulls it out and Lsu beats A&M by at least 10. Lsu finishes 10-2

Or it could play out like this
Miami W 38-13
SE W 44-3
Auburn W 20-17
La Tech W 38-10
OM W 35-21
UF W 27-10
UGA W 21-20
MSU W 28-10
Bama L 14-10
Arky W 31-14
Rice W 38-7
AM W 31-14

Fall
The ceiling is 15-0.

Floor is about 4-8.

If you wager now
LSU are underdogs for Miami, Aubie, Georgia, and Alabama.

Play the games. They can win any of them.

More like this...

Miami W 24-13
SE W 56-0
Auburn L 28-24
La Tech W 38-10
OM W 42-21
UF W 27-17
UGA L 31-28 OT
MSU W 30-16
Bama L 20-17 OT
Arky W 34-17
Rice W 38-3
AM W 41-21

This is my worst case too btw. I think they can win one more of the 3 loses I show. I would like it to be GA or Bama.

Bowl game against Michigan and win 27-20.
10-3 final top ten ranking going into 2019 with Burrow coming back and the train rolling! Choooo Choooo MFR'S!!

But this kind of schedule would show that LSU is winning and can compete with the best. That's another reason I would like the beat one of GA and Bama. It would get lots of people's attention and could do wonders for recruiting.
