Looks like a typical underwhelming Les Miles season.

Losses to UF and TAM this year would be an undeniable warning sign that things are about to go to hell in Baton Rouge.

Close but I don't think lose to Fla.! 8&4.

We barely beat them last year, and that was when Butterteeth was coaching them. @Florida is always a tough game.

They're at home.
They have legit revenge on their minds.
They'll probably be coming off of their first loss of the season vs MSU.
They have Mullen, we have O.

Nobody can realistically say. It is the biggest "tossup" we've had in a while.

1. We don't know who or how our QB play will turn out.
2. We don't know what to expect from our offense.
3. This is the weakest running back group we've had in a while.
4. We're really not too sure what to expect from special teams.

This thing can realistically range from 5 wins to 10 wins.

At least it is exciting as to how it will turn out...

frick it. I'll take a shot.

Miami W 27-10
SE W 49-3
Auburn L 17-24
La Tech W 35-10
OM W 31-7
UF W 21-17
UGA L 24-31
MSU W 17-14
Bama W 24-21 (it can happen)
Arky W 35-17
Rice W 42-0
AM W 28-14

I can't believe I just predicted 10-2. Now that I type it, I dont think I'll be correct. But I can dream.

I'm going with the Burrow plays well/best case scenario:

LSU - 24 Miami - 17 W
LSU - 49 SELA - 0 W
LSU - 17 Auburn - 31 L
LSU - 42 LA Tech - 16 W
LSU - 38 Ole Miss - 21 W
LSU - 31 Florida - 28 W
LSU - 27 Georgia - 24 W
LSU - 21 Miss. State - 20 W
LSU - 24 Alabama - 27 L
LSU - 42 Arkansas - 14 W
LSU - 52 Rice - 7 W
LSU - 31 A&M - 23 W

This is the biggest concern I have for the UF game, but it isn't just Mullen vs. Orgeron.

Mullen took a less talented roster and ran circles around LSU's coaching staff, in a less hostile environment, in 2017.

Yeah, yet you bring some B's about one game making one coach a superior coach. Just fkn stupid. By your own admission then aranda is a complete joke because Mullen made him look silly. You losers are a miserable group. As I said earlier, misery loves company and you guys make a great group.

Well, we had 2 first-round draft picks (one was, another should've been top-10) and a second-rounder carrying the load the past 5 seasons.

The fact is you don't know what we have at running back. Nor do 99.8% of the people who post here, myself included. Several were highly recruited and for all we know haven't seen the field because if Fournette, Guice and Williams, not because they'renot good at the position.

In 2011 we didn't have a stud back but all were serviceable and that season turned out okay.

Please, explain how the careers of Ed Orgeron and Dan Mullen show that Mullen isn't a better coach.

I'll wait.

It was one frickin game with an injury/suspension filled team. Jesus Christ. O still led his team to a higher finish in the sec. Again, by your own admission, aranda is highly overrated because he got made silly in that game he was so outcoached. Ridiculous. Enjoy your misery. It wears well on you.

The entire LSU coaching staff was embarrassed by Mississippi State in 2017.

Prove that statement to be incorrect. Again, I'll wait.

You dodged that question so fricking hard

Dan mullen had a ton of success at Miss St

O has a losing HC record.

This isn’t based on 1 game.

Which we lost

Just like people’s opinions on Aranda aren’t based on 1 game. He’s pumped it top 15 defenses at 2 different schools

I get using SEC record to point out a coach is weak against stronger competition like oh he’s 10-3 but only 5-3 in the conference and he beats up in creampuffs.

What I dont Get is using it to prop up a weak overall record. Like who fricking cares if your 6-2 in the conference if you’re 9-4 overall. OOC games count too.
