Exactly what I’ve been saying.

Yep. Agreed. I mean what 5 or 4 Star QB wouldn’t want to come be coached up by a career DL coach as HC, an OC that’s not been a full time OC since 1998 and a septuagenarian Passing Game Coordinator???
We coming!!!
Seriously will SE be the problem on game days calling plays or game weeks gameplanning? I doubt it. I think he will be good if not very good. SE is a good coach. So is Sullivan by the way.
Will we out-scheme Saban, Kirby, Jimbo, Richt, Mullen? Probably not.
Even if you believe we can outscheme one or 2 if those. No one believes we can with the majority of that list.
So if we aren’t out game planning them another means to an end is to out talent them.
That comes down to Recruiting.
If you are a 5* QB are you gonna hitch your future to a 73 year old Passing Game Coordinator and an OC who hasn’t been an OC this century? Honestly???!!!
Do you think it just might be possible that other recruiters from other schools will use that fact to negative recruit us?
Nope it’s not about giving it a chance. Although again I’ll say SE will do well calling plays. It’s more than that.
It’s about projection of the program. Do recruits trust their future to our staff.
It’s important and the visual isn’t positive. No matter how much of a chance you or I give.

So now we aee back an unqualified failure of a head coach that now only needs 1 top Coordinator?
How is it fake news that Orgeron got the job because he sold himself on being a leader and motivator that would be at a lower cost and allow LSU fo pay for the very best coordinators.
Is the new rally cry really now that Orgeron tried that and it didnt work so we will now pay top money for unwanted Coordinators that are buddies?

Probably everyone on this board has been a fan longer than Joe Alleva and F. King have been a Tiger fans.
THEY ARE RUNNING THE PROGRAM INTO THE GROUND and yet only true fans are the ones cheering THEM on. Sorry but their coaching searches and moves would have them both fired at any Div2 or JUCO in the country, they're that bad. Complete dumpster fire every time a decision is made.
And as people say, How do you dump $3m into an OC and then go and hire the guy who has been there the whole time? It's infuriating to have these dumbasses making decisions that tank the program I've loved all my life. If they were trying to hurt the program, I don't think they could do it worse.
So while our opponents are out there making moves to put real coaches into their program, we're out hiring Boudreaux and Bubba from the superette down in Gonzales. Does that mean they can't do the job? NO, but should a program our size be a training ground for them? NO. So go eff off with deciding who is a fan or not mr superfan.
Playing the lottery may get you rich, but it's the dumb way to try to get rich. Same with the coaching situation now.

No, it’s you people who suck that support every move LSU makes just because it’s LSU. You blindly follow them, and don’t question a damn thing. You are all Lemmings, and it just makes the problem worse.
People cannot separate LSU vs. The people. LSU will be LSU when coach o is gone, just like after dale brown and skip. You can love the school and not love everything it does or the people they hire. . Alleva did this by not pulling the plug on Les after the A&M game 2 seasons ago, now the fact that we have a coach who was and is Un qualified to be the skipper of a program this big is completely on him. Then to add insult to injury A&M makes a splash and gets Jimbo were screwed. He has ties to BR and recruiting inroads in sela just like Saban he will be poaching the vest of LA and who could blame a kid for wanting to go to an elite coach with skins on the wall.

O is a buffer so they can pay off miles, then they might hire a championship coach. I just hope JA ends then also

Damn OTIS...you got 87 downvotes bruh. If your goal was to rile up the 'tards

I’ll always support the players and Steve.
I can’t stand O and I HOPE AND PRAY this is his last year.

Still waiting for someone to explain to me what it means to "give O a chance". Does it mean I can't react negatively to anything that happens? That even in the face of ample contrary evidence, I have to have unbridled optimism that O is the savior?

Refresh my memory? O did well as the interim and I would not call last season a failure....You talking about his Ole Miss days?
Bill Belichick aka failure

I love when these people compare Orgeron to Saban. Now they are comparing the man to Bill fricking Belichick.

Never got an answer on this. How does the chain of command work? Who hires & fires F King?
Is the pecking order,
Governor
F King
BOS
AD
???
Posted on 1/12/18 at 8:17 am to Skillet
Governor or majority of the board can fire BOS member
Majority of BOS can fire F King
F King can fire Alleva
Alleva can fire Orgeron
Majority of BOS can fire F King
F King can fire Alleva
Alleva can fire Orgeron
Posted on 1/12/18 at 8:18 am to Skillet
I really have no idea. The way I understand it is Alleva would be in charge of anything in AD dept and the BOS would have to approve any contract/hire...but IDK

So predictable that you'd say that.
I never compared the 2, I simply posted a couple of season records from what is considered to be one of the greatest coaches ever.
