I would take a National Championship in Softball if it meant the next two seasons would be .500.
Beth will never get a National Championship but she has had MANY .500 seasons and worse in the SEC.
"below average" in terms of coaching baseball at LSU is making it to the regional finals. "Average" in terms of LSU baseball is making it to a Super Regional. Should I go on?

Those are your terms and your opinion. Thankfully they’re not facts.
The guy has a .70 winning percentage at LSU.
40 + wins every year he’s been here.
50+ wins 1/4yrs, with the second coming this year.
He brought a decimated 2023 team to the regional finals last year, losing in extra innings.
He orchestrated the greatest pitching match ups in CWS history to win a National Championship.
He’s had the number 1 recruiting classes and portal transfers.
The guy is great, despite what you think. Some of you fans are so spoiled, and wear purple and gold goggles 24/7 that the facts get passed over. You have unrealistic expectations.
It had been 15 years between championships and the guy put together a disgusting line up, with a work in progress bullpen and won it in his second year. Chill out, he’ll bring another, but this isn’t the 90’s, those days are far gone.

If I remember correctly, Scott W was at LSU and had fired Ed O & was rattling the doors of aTm about possibly hiring Jimbo. aTm rushed to extend and make his contract more lucrative including a very large buyout for firing him, to keep him from leaving. In reality, Scott "deked" aTm and everyone else by floating Jimbo and other names while he was already negotiating with BK's agent, Trace Armstong, to get BK to LSU from ND.
