All the people I’ve seen here questioning Linehan have references and seen his time in the NFL. The people defending him have clearly never seen any of his offenses or if the did didn’t know it.

And you’re also acting like the guy is going to be the OC even after O has REPEATEDLY said that E is the play caller. Brady was mostly responsible for implementing the offense. Which is still there, I might add.

As a cowboys fan be glad we have Steve. Scott made several bad calls at the wrong time. His offense did score points most of the times. Just some bad calls with the game on the line.

We aren't going to know his role but he's not going to be bringing some innovative scheme into play. His Dallas teams the last several years when he called plays was more predictable than a Miles scheme.

Another phony narrative. My exact take was it’s not the end of the world but pretending it can’t be questioned is insane. But continue with the lies and melting.

Thanks? I know? Linehan is literally the last person I would considered for any kind of offensive role

This is what I love about Rantards, they create human beings that are infallible.

Yep and others believe every hire is awful like Orgeron, Ensminger and Brady who would have been bashed unmercifully had they not surprised the world, including this board.

Do we know this for sure? Can E teach the scheme to the new Freshman? He called the plays, but can he continue to coach and adapt the scheme? I don’t think anyone knows this for sure.

How so? I very calmly (without calling you names) called you out on your bias, and childish behavior toward another poster.

In what way, precisely, does that make MY skin thin? Your version of reality seems rather inverted, friend.

I can promise you that 99% of the people trashing this hire no next to nothing about this man...including you! It's just a lazy take to say that he's a bum because he's not a sexy "name". That's all this is about!

most likely won’t recruit

This would be my concern. NOT saying he won't but obviously he has little recent experience and the recruiting world is always changing. CEO needs to give him the '101 class' on do's and don'ts and how we do it at LSU. Not saying this is a bad hire, but I would have preferred a younger PGC with a college RPO background.

He’s so vanilla he’d make Miles offenses look innovative. At least Miles ran jet sweeps lol.

O told this fan base he’d go out and hire the best coordinators. Chalk this up as another lie.

Bingo. Hard to evaluate the hire based on that.

I only watched every offensive play he called at his last stop for four years.
