T-Bob said that there was a stretch where Bama converted 7 straight 3rd down conversions followed by a quarters worth of time between the 3rd and 4th qtr that Bama's offense didn't even get to 3rd down.

It's hard to fathom how historically bad that is.

3rd and house is a real thing. But that shouldn't be the discussion. It should be, any down and house. I don't remember watching an LSU defense look like Swiss cheese before.

I remember hearing in one of the post game shows where it was brought up that in the last 32 or 35 possessions by our opponents LSU has made a grand total of 5 stops.

5!!!!!

We’ve had a 3rd down problem since 2022 FSU. Yet here we are still giving WRs 12 yard cushions on 3rd and 7

Never thought I'd live to see an LSU offense be so great and the defense be so shitty

hopefully the media can ask for Kellys thoughts on that particular stat to get his thoughts.

It’s not hard to fathom because I’ve been watching it happen. I just don’t believe that LSU talent can be THAT bad without help from a scheme and coaching. That is a combined effort.

House will be gone at seasons end.

We will improve on defense no matter what next year.

Hopefully that’s part of Kelly’s “deep dive”.

Kelly: Well, it is something that we certainly need to address.

That elite crap was passing me off. We aren't elite. We aren't good. We aren't even below average. We are very bad. Call it how it is.

Like someone commented above. " no one on defense is playing the ball"

Actually the Safety Sam starting doing this recently in the last two games before Alabama and then in the Alabama game he never took any chances of going after the ball. Pretty sure he had been told to play extra safe and play conservative.

None of our DB's go after the ball anymore. Its been like this for 3-4 years.

Brooks was the only guy that would do it .

We are sooooo conservative on Defense its become disgusting.

G0 watch the Georgia vs Missouri game. Missouri was playing all out and not holding anything back on defense.

It’s like we are playing prevent defense every play. There is little pass rush. Certain big name linemen don’t have any impact at all. The backfield is just out there waiting to make a tackle instead of stopping the play from happening. We need an overhaul.
