The 2 minute offense to get the TD at the end of the game was a thing of beauty and tells me the team is well coached.

JD5 has the it factor 2. Brian Thomas Jr is unguardable 3. Mehki Wingo has a motor 4. Jarrick is a good cover corner

- They never quit. That was a nice thing to see.
- The defense was competitive all night, even though the coverages were breaking down.
- Ward is a wild man. He plays his arse off.
- Plays were there to be made on offense. The Oline and Daniels both have to execute better, which will come with time.
- The WRs, even with Boutte shitting the bed, are studs.

1. Daniels could be a big time playmaker if/when the offense can be dialed in to fit his skillset (and if the OL improves as the season goes on). He's a guy who can make plays when there isn't anything there.
2. Mason Taylor looks like a viable weapon as a receiver (though the other aspects of his game need work)
3. He's not Maason Smith, but Wingo was solid.
4. Burns made some nice plays firing in from his safety spot.
5. The CBs weren't terrible in man coverage. I think that was a HUGE concern for the DC coming into the game. While not Patrick Peterson, Greedy Willimam, Claiborne, Honey Badger, etc, etc, they showed they may be able to be a bit more trusted in man situations.
6. Jenkins continues to play big in big moments. Kelly mentioned his "inconsistency" in practice. Who cares? The guy consistently shows up in games. Right now, he's kind of the anti-Nabors....lots of practice hype...not many big plays in games (to date)

LSU displayed one of worst ST performances, D could not get off field on 3rd down, and QB ran for his life for half of game…lost turnover battle and most statistics in game
And was in position to possibly win the game when the clock expired.
Neither LSU or FSU should feel great about this.

Matt House finally got out of a soft zone and played man in the 4th quarter, which allowed our pressure to actually work

I’ll say something positive about the negative. Little things cost us the game. Things that you may expect the first game but hope don’t happen. Things that should and will be fixed. One busted coverage on a truck play. Couple of muffed punts cost us giving points. Two blocked FG’s and we lost points. I wouldn’t even try to focus and make them over practice. Just show them the mistake and correct
