I’d rather Reid on third, Slaughter on short so that dadgum bag wouldn’t be getting in his way all the time, and put Hal on the pine. We couldn’t do any worse, could we? And we KNOW Reid can hit.... and hit clutch.

the 2 3 match up is usually pretty even. I think we are better than them but this isn't a game we have no excuse to lose.

I believe Watson was the one to finally break through that soft tossing pitcher from texas southern in the regional last year and hit a bomb off him to wake us up. Maybe he'll have this pitcher's number his next AB
