Never threw last nite. Auburn batted in the Top of 1st then the rains came.

No.

Tennessee elected to start the game, Auburn put up 2 in the top half. Then the game was called. Doyle was burned.

Dutton never threw, so he wasn't burned.

Tennessee was blaming everyone because the game started and they had to burn Doyle in the top of the first and then the game got called for the night, with Dutton not throwing at all.

Tennessee is the home team and decided game time

Auburn is up 4-0 & Dutton has pitched 6 innings with 74 pitches.

Vols are probably screwed

Ever since that game at South Carolina in 2023 Jay has been extra cautious about that.

And people criticize him relentlessly for it. They would also revolt had the same thing happen to Anderson.

I didn't see any parts of the game, though. Did Doyle really pitch enough last night to burn him for the weekend? Seems like he could have come in for a short stint for the early game.

Seems like Tennessee has become the most hated SEC baseball team over the past few seasons.

But a few other schools are not far behind.

I watched most of that game today.

I must say that Dutton’s breaking balls must have super late break. No pitcher I’ve seen this year gets as many ankle high called strikes. It’s amazing to see so many pitches low and outside get consistently called strikes.

Tennessee’s dugout was beside itself and they were absolutely correct.

This coming for someone that wanted the Vols to get run ruled.

It really is. Of course they probably shouldn’t keep score when the weather is like it was last night and today. Tenn had to use their bullpen and that’s not really fair. If you take away Auburn’s 6 runs, Tenn pretty much dominated
