Nick Saban got busted providing extra induucements to his football team. He was taking his players out boat riding on the lake, a benefit not available to other Alabma students when the boat ran out of gas.
The NCAA needs to bring the hammer down. You may think this is facetious but Bruce Pearl got Tennesse basketball on probation by hosting barbecues for his players and he was eventually fired by the university as a result.

He’s never hidden this. Each preseason he brings the whole team to his home for jet skiing, boating and fishing. EVERY College athlete gets things not available to other students.

Interesting. If Saban was concerned with breaking a rule I doubt he would have been clowning and letting them video on the boat.

Here is your breaking news on Monday: NCAA hammers Alabama football program with 3 years of probation. The Crimson Tide will lose .5 scholarships each of the three seasons, leaving them with 24.5. That number is rounded up, so they get 25 scholarships each season.

He’s been doing this for years. At his lakehouse in GA. Have seen videos of players riding jet skis and intertubes behibd boat he was driving

It was recruit and the violations weren't that big but Pearl told everybody to lie about it.
