He will also be coaching McNeese which is all kinds of fricked up and has no chance to ever do anything of import.

When KF retired he was offered the opportunity to stay on and coach for the Patriots by Bill Belichick. If he's good enough for Bill, I think he'll be OK for LSU.

What’s Faulk’s coaching experience?

He coached Jimbo’s nephew on respect.

That would be great. I was disappointed to hear that Frank Wilson would not be filling that position, but it would be nice to have Kevin Faulk on board.

FW is not going to desert McNeese less than a month after accepting the HC position. He wants to be a HC. If TR plans to leave, I assure you FW was aware of it prior to taking the McNeese job.

Secondly, Coach O recommended FW for that job. O is incrementally building a wall around the state to prevent in-state schools from hosting "satellite camps" for recruiting competition.

I am hearing it depends on Richards decision. Pelini rumor had some legs but not O’s 1st choice.

Seems like they are settling with Pelini. Can they not steal a top DC from another school?

It's obvious trust is most important to O here. He knows and respects Richard and Pelini.

I’ve heard Faulk doesn’t want to be a full time coach and still lives in Lafayette.

That’s a big workload commitment and he doesn’t need the money.
