Need some verification to throw in someone's face. Who had the fight song first?

LSU by a very long time. Rummel admits they stole it from LSU. I went to Rummel.

Why is this even an argument?

(Rummel has only been around since the 60s, fyi).

I am sorry.

I can barely entertain the Clemson v LSU "Who had it first" arguments.

I refuse to even acknowledge a Rummel v LSU battle

Rummel's fight song is to the tune of Hey Fighting Tigers and not the actual fight song, Fight for LSU, as far as I can remember

good grief, LSU adopted the song from "Wildcat" in 1960 and either purchased or was donated the rights to the song.....

Rummel, Shaw, Chappelle, and Blenk all were opened in the fall of 1962...

In 1958, LSU adapted the song "Hey Look Me Over" from the Broadway hit Wildcat! for it's new fight song.
LSU's official fight song is "Fight for LSU".

Who was a Tiger first? LSU/Auburn/Clemson/etc...
Who was a Wildcat first?
Who was a Jaguar first?
Who was a Cowboy first?
Who gives a shite?
Probably a Jesuit Blue Jay trolling.
Who was a Blue Jay first?
Move on to more important issues.
