But Kansas can sign a guy who actually PLAYED for a pro team. Makes sense

That’s been well know for a while now. Sucks but no surprise.

Glad we got Niang. Hopefully Dessert and Clark follow

No one was really expecting Luis to be eligible, but the lack of consistency in eligibility decisions is infuriating.

I hope he does and plays to highlight the hypocrisy.

I hope he goes to Kansas and they run it up on Bama in a Vegas NIL tournament.

That’ll get Sankey’s attention.

Let him go to Kansas, they have no problems telling the NCAA to shove it when it comes to basketball. then we could see Kansas knock off the top SEC team in the tournament and see what Sankey says

Wouldn't shock me if he did.

To be clear, I don't think Luis should be eligible to play anywhere since he chose to forego his eligibility. But I agree with everyone that it's bullshite that all conferences are not playing by the same rules on this stuff. Puts LSU and the SEC at a big disadvantage for basketball.

Sankey is about to move on to the baseball program for rostering previously drafted players. Hes running out of options to keep his dumbass lawsuit alive.

Sankey will have plenty of time to give that his attention, as he will be unemployed by then.

And beats every SEC school he plays against.

KU isn't in the SEC, so....

And here's the obligatory "SANKEY SUCKS" postscript...

Big 12 has the same rule. The commissioner spoke today on why Kansas’s addition was good under the rule (he was automatically entered into the draft as a senior), as opposed to Luis who was an early entry.

He’ll need to go somewhere that doesn’t have a conference rule. How about McNeese?

The guy left early, and he signed a contract when he went undrafted; he didn't run out of eligibility.

That may be so but it's pretty evident which conference actually cares about that rule.

I equate that to the dark days when the LSU compliance office was getting players suspended for smoking half a blunt and self-reporting when the rest of the SEC teams just laughed at us for punishing talented players over weed, of all things.

Them's might be the rules, but some look at them more like guidelines or suggestions and some look at them like the cliffs of Normandy during D-Day.

Who is the Kansas player that'll be playing?
