JJ and Lee's career passing rating at LSU are identical, at 127.

I'm not sure any QB would flourish in that offense.

I appreciate him pushing his brothers to go here, my beef with him was his attitude on the field and his play. 90% of that being his attitude on field and like the other guy said, he did get tm7 busted. Dude did not take responsibility for his play and that's my issue, I didn't mean to hurt so many feelings.

This is so stupid to say about a young teenager/adult that was doing his best to learn and grow with the tools he was given.

Mmmmm, I wonder what people would say about your arse if your job was plastered on tv for the pleasure of others everyday.

Stop coddling them. They're not babies, theyre football stars. They're gonna be just fine if they get some criticism, the coaches are gonna be a lot harder than any of us.

He beat bama twice though,

The defense beat Bama twice. Then he scored absolutely nothing in the title.

You like Karnell Hatcher and Jarrett Lee?

Why?

Because they didn't shite on their teammates. Yall might not remember his attitude but I'll never forget how pissed off his attitude made me.

I’m watching lsu Oregon. Unfortunately I don’t remember specific things in the first quarter. Jerry’s world margaritas were on point.

Well thank God for Brady because we were doing that same shite in 18 with the #1 pick.

Jefferson was awful against UGA and Bama.
He was as bad against Bama as Lee was against Oregon.

We probably wouldn't beaten Bama with JL, but I'm thinking we score
I am not sure why you think that.

Bama blew our OL up in the BCSCG. With Lee there, it is far more likely he throws a half-dozen picks as he is fighting off defenders.

I think BAMA scores more points if Lee goes in, and LSU is still blanked.

If Lee were a shite-hot OL, he may have been some help. QB was not what lost that game. The only people still saying that, would have complained about Jefferson if we won.

Anyone paying attention at the time.......The play calling sucked, but he held the damn ball too long on the option. He constantly pitched is outside the hash, almost out of bounds every damn time. Shite drove me crazy

Lee sucked arse. I don’t know why people hype him up so much. Whether it wasn’t his fault or not and he and JJ were a product of a shitty system you can argue. But he sucked arse in whatever we were running.

Not aimed just at you Elleshoe but seemed like as a good of place as any to hop on this ride.

As I mentioned w.r.t. JJ in an earlier post, I prefer to see my Tigers in the best light possible.

In '08 JL was put in at QB before he was anywhere near ready - the game was just too fast for him then. But there was no place to hide and even more so when Hatch went down.

And make no mistake about, his Fr season was a disaster. That said, he never ducked responsibility or shifted blame. '19 marked 50 seasons of following LSU football and when JL got hurt vs OM in '08 it marked the low point in our fandom, i.e., when TS cheered when he got hurt (not cheered as when an injured player is helped off the field, no but cheered when JL lay on the grass injured).

Why JL would ever want to stay at LSU after that is beyond me. But he did.

And Tiger fans can be glad he did.

We don't beat UTenn, UF, and perhaps Bama without him in '10. His 3rd and 13 throw to Reuben Randle vs Bama was a clutch as could be. Last time we beat Bama in TS BTW.

And '11 may have looked a lot different had he not been here when JJ was suspended.

Glad JL came to LSU and stuck it out.

Never knock somebody until you done the same. Not a single person, with the negative nonsense, stepped on that field and was QB of a national championship contender... Lets not get besides ourselves and act like dude was garbabge. He may have not done what we would liked him to or expected, for a # of reasons, but lets respect that he did the best he could with his ability, playcalling, Les not opening the offense, etc.
And at this point, I think Justin made up for Jordan, so its cool. That family got us a chip and Im thankful.

I thought Jordan could have been better, but it wasnt meant to be... Have respect for every LSU QB that took a snap bc you have a state watching your every move/decision and your less than 21 yrs old...
That man went out and worked eday to try to be a champion. Much respect. Sunday morning QB is a problem from people who never played a down past H.S.on this forum. Trust me, its not as easy as it looks.

Jordan beat Bama twice. Let that sink in. As shitty as the offensive game plan was during his time, he still beat Bama twice. He could’ve thrived in a good offensive scheme. He did his best here and then pushed his brothers here. For those things, he’ll always be a great Tiger to me.

He threw for less than 100 yards in his last two games. Also was bailed out by Lee a couple times. He had the physical talents but never put it together. The coaching was so poor lazy in his era. LSU was winning strictly on talent.

took too long to process information. Had skills but we struggled with snapping the ball on time. Nothing was smooth from the sideline to the QB everything took too long.

The defense beat Bama he was not thriving in any SEC offense.
