My god they are bad. Looks like Nix is done and Finley up until the last drive was pretty bad

I’m not worried

I wouldn’t put a lot of credence into that game. Perfect sandwich let down game played between Penn State and LSU games.
Auburn will turn it up several notches for LSU

Auburn is significantly better than Mississippi State.

Watching that game, their DLine is going to destroy our OL. However, it looks like our DL may be able to beat up on their OL. I didn't realize this.

Auburn will win this game by double digits, IMO.

I’m not sure the LSU OLine and DLine are as good or physical as GaSt. Look at their HC, Elliott where he came from and what his specialty is… coached under Boomer at SCe and was the Oline coach.
They got screwed on that “catch” which wasn’t. As we know when you’re playing at Jordan-Hare it’s called “getting Auburned”. Those SEC officials are relentlessly biased for them.

They aren’t great.
Neither is LSU.

This game is a toss up.
Spread won’t be above 2.5 either way.

Edit: nvm about the spread. I guess Auburn is worse than I thought.

Maybe if we were playing them at Auburn. I like our chances at home against Auburn with Finley starting.

Low scoring grind it out game. LSU wins by 10

They played Penn State really good. It's tough to "get up" for Georgia State after a tough loss at Penn State.

Auburn will play us a lot better than you think. It wouldn't surprise me if they even won.

Rewatching LSU and, man, we are not good. MSU shot itself in the foot a few times. Defense was gassed in the end and had a problem stopping the run. The offense could have really helped to put the game away earlier, but, well...you saw it.

I was shocked that Auburn's run defense was so bad, and that was Georgia State, who's hardly any great shakes in the college football world.

Don't get your hopes up too high. In the Joe Burrow Heisman year Auburn came into Death Valley and came within an onside kick recovery of beating the Tigers.

Every game is different and Auburn will be ready for a catfight in Tiger Stadium.

I think trying to use yesterday’s games to mean anything about next week’s matchup is a bit silly.

LSU played a pass happy offense that easily ran for chunks of yards whenever they did it.

The turnovers were killers for MSU, and if not for a completely stupid play by the special teamer, the game could’ve easily been lost.

LSU sustained no drives and thrives on big plays with MSU’s defense looking more like LSUs.

Auburn struggled after a tough road loss at PSU. It happens, and while they aren’t great, they are significantly more talented than MSU.

It will be a close game, and unless LSU can find a running game, they will likely lose.

Are you serious, what about Auburn thinks they are better than LSU? UCLA and Penn State are a push, LSU actually has played better teams, Miss. State, other than PSU is better than who they have played in Akron and Ala. State, and GA State. Akron in 2019 was 0-8 in the MAC and 1-5 last year. Central Michigan won the MAC South division in 2019 at 6-2, was 3-3 in the COVID-19 year in 2020, I think they had lots of transfers when it seemed like the MAC was not going to play.

Both teams are 3-1 but LSU has actually played the better competition.

So was there a new rule implemented that I’m unaware of? If you’re losing, all you have to do is recover an onside kick and you’re rewarded the W?
