That was the only thing I disagreed with Coach Miles on.

Why? There is no legitimate reason for a woman to play football with men. None.
Why are you wanting women to be inspired to try? No woman will ever be good enough to beat out a man for any position. Even kicker. It's all publicity stunts.

Goodness, you people are insufferable. Buncha new-wave feminists pretending like you’re football experts.
If Sarah Fuller could kick a football deep, they would’ve let her kick it deep. There was zero strategic rationale to pooch, squib, or whatever you want to call that shitty kick.

Yeah but it’s a little anti-climactic.
Like if Jackie Robinson laid down a sack bunt to move a runner to second and never played again.

If they think they’re good enough to and if someone wants to give them a shot, what’s wrong with letting them prove it?

Probably, almost certainly, but until they get out there and fail miserably then it’s just an assumption on our part. I’d love nothing more than to be proven wrong.

not even.
a sac actually has some strategic merit.
it’s more like the midget that walked in 4 pitches, then was pinch run for.
never saw field again.

How is it an assumption to think a chick trying to play football w/men is gonna get blown up my dude
Posted on 12/1/20 at 7:44 pm to ChanceOfRainIsNever
I’m just saying let them get out there and get blown up. When that happens, they won’t need us to tell them they can’t. They’ll find out themselves. And if by some miracle a woman gets out there and goes beast mode, then I’ll be lit as frick about it.

Mo had a better leg, much better, than Sarah. But don’t think for 1 second she wouldn’t have paraded herself around just like Sarah did. She went on the damn Ellen show and hadn’t even made the team. It was pathetic.

I see the resemblance.

It’s not going to help pave the way for females for equality if people are going to give out participation trophies every time they do something. This seemed more about a PR stunt by Vandy and was very patronizing.

echo group article about Mo Isom and her book
quote:
While her young life was riddled with great personal tragedy – including battling an eating disorder, overcoming the suicide of her father, struggling with promiscuity, and surviving a horrific car accident—Mo was miraculously saved and transformed by the grace of Jesus
Posted on 12/1/20 at 11:14 pm to mikelbr
There is video of Mo making a 40 yard and had room.
Posted on 12/1/20 at 11:22 pm to mikelbr
Nah, I think she was saving her pud for her future hubby after she found Jesus, hince the booty stuff

Pooch kicking against Trindon Holliday: justifiable.
Pooch kicking down 21-0 to the statistically worst returner in the SEC: not so much.

I’m all for empowering women. I’m sure there are some very good female kickers out there. But Sarah Fuller wasn’t it
I think this did more damage than good. It doesn’t help empower women when they get an opportunity and it looks likely they don’t belong.

This is true, when she told me in college she only did anal because she was waiting on God had me thinking all kinda ways.
