I’m all for empowering women. I’m sure there are some very good female kickers out there. But Sarah Fuller wasn’t it

Right she was given a fair chance to compete for the spot, and she was outperformed. This is equality.
Sarah was paraded like a make a wish foundation child and her substandard performance was lauded as groundbreaking and history in the making. This isn't even close to equality

This. I don’t have a problem with her playing. I hope she does again, and that more women are inspired enough to play too.
But a single 30 yard “squib kick” does not earn you an SEC special teams POTW honor. It was based solely on identity, not merit, which it should be.
