Go back and watch it. QB was laying on a Kentucky lineman and he was pulling up on him and two others were pushing from behind. This happened after momentum stopped.

When you lay on top of the OL you can never be down.

This quote makes Kiffin an even bigger pussy for not going for it knowing forward progress would be on his side

I don't think that's how this works

So, Lane says that the official said that?

Why should we take Lane at his word?

I'd wager heavily a NCAA official said that regarding a play.

When your forward progress is stopped the play is over just like when a running back gets stopped and they keep pushing back but he never goes down.

In this case it was pretty obvious he was stuffed and stopped. Instead of blowing the whistle they just sat and waited until eventually he got pushed forward. It was wrong, it was blatant, and given the final score of the game it was consequential in the outcome.

I’m not saying do anything abrupt or drastic anytime soon, but it would be best to start the discussions on exiting the SEC. It’s been so bad for so fricking long.

Surprise, the SEC is corrupt. We’ve been fricked by the conference countless times. This Gould surprise no one, lol.

That is indeed what happened ... so frustrating but there's nothing to be done about it now.

Against aTm Geralds ripped a ball out while a running back was still moving forward so they blew it dead and said he was stopped.

That was absurd.

Yep. Which is a penalty, you can push but not grab or pull. He was horizontal to the ground and you can see him being grabbed and reanimated by his teammates like a battering ram and his neck made an awkward turn.

He could not have gotten in on his own. He was at the point that he had become defenseless and there is no way to legally stop him.

The timeout thing should have been fairly easy to prove, but I saw a flag come out and it came out late. Objectively bad officiating

Wouldn't have mattered had a better coached game occurred. ??

It was a one point game, yes it would have mattered. You can be critical of the coaching, but the officiating was bad and legitimately gave UK and advantage on the scoreboard

It’ll be really interesting to see how games are officiated from here on out

Interesting? Eh I think it’s obvious how they’ll be called.
There were 2 game deciding situations Saturday where officials “randomly” chose to swallow their whistles. It just so happened that one time was against the leagues new villain and the other was for their elder statesman

2 obvious calls

Proof positive that all of it is rigged, particularly against LSU.

SEC has always been the worst officiating conference. They have had an officiating problem for a long time. It doesn't just impact our games it happened in the Bama and Georgia game. It is what it is

Bottom line is that SEC refs are corrupt and just plain incompetent.
