You mean the guy agreeing with us that not taking a timeout was the wrong decision?
Got it, thanks Ree.
That's his opinion and a valid one.
I watched Auburn - Ms State game. The officials stopped play and made two reversals of ball placement in the short time I watched.
One time Auburn had been given a first down and RAN another play. they still went back and the official said they were reviewing the PREVIOUS play and Auburn had to punt.
They were quick to do it in that game and when they weren't, they did it anyway. Why not the LSU game - ONCE?
All you haters are convinced the call would have been favorable. I kind of doubt it.

Gahhh Damn, you are Stupid.
You do realize, if he called the TO you can still kick the FG?? Do you understand that? Better yet, you can see if it needs to be reviewed or take time with the decision on fg or go for it. It's OK to call a bad decision... a bad decision
I'm not advocating that he should have gone for it, not sure anyone is...But if that call is reviewed and LSU gets a First, that a big swing in the game. LSU could burned more clock and possible kicked the FG or got a TD. That would have been huge and most likely kept fla from getting 7 before half. But keep defending the call and calling others stupid and illiterate.

Whoever is responsible needs to be fired, plain and simple, today. Not having the right angle etc. is complete BS. CBS had all the angles needed.
No debate at all -- call the damn timeout, that is why you have them. Get the information you need to make a decision. I would understand if he didn't have a timeout left and asked the ref to take a look and he refused but that isn't what happened.
I fear Coach O doesn't have the wattage upstairs to make quick decisions. This is really the HC's job -- timeouts, make 4th down calls. Getting caught off guard in this situation is very, very telling. This should NOT happen.

You must be the biggest 0 apologist alive which suggests that, if you are not he, you are a relative.
Orgeron can
all day long, but it does not change the fact that he cannot coach.
Orgeron can

Because the officials obviously hate Orgeron as well. Damn guy can't catch a break.

On CEH 1st down. They tell him from upstairs to challenge. No one told him anything. The replay came to the booth too late for LSU's staff. On the field they were debating going for it but he didn't want to come up empty two drives in a row. After they kicked the FG he was notified he should have challenged. Watching it again it looked like he got it but it is not a given it would have been changed.
This right here is a microcosm of the frickery that is head coaching according to Ed Orgeron.

RB10, why don't you tell us what's really wrong?
We have a coach who's got a 36-34 career head coaching record and who has no clue how to actually build a championship winning program.
Man, that sure was difficult.

No more than any coach you fricking stooge...
And certainly not to he level les miles did.

Some of you people are miserable.
We have 6 more Saturdays of LSU football left and then it's gone again.

Did you see our players getting manhandled up front? Can you give me an explanation as to why that happened?
These guys memory is as selective as their reading. They are just latching onto anything they can blame the head coach for.
They don't care about what happened or anything else for that matter. As long as they can bitch about the head coach they are some happy "so-called LSU" fans.
they had to wait six weeks to have something to be happy and excited about. Six weeks is a long time for these mental midgets.

Yeah. And guess what. Some of us want to spend those 6 Saturdays winning rather than being throttled by teams we should be just as good as.

Either he hasn't really lied or he only does as much as every other coach. You need to make up your mind.

Oh goody. This thread went as expected. Same ole people saying the same ole things and calling O an idiot and stupid in roundabout ways.
Posted on 10/8/18 at 2:08 pm to Tiger Ree
So the scheme was perfect, players suck and need to get better.
What a jackwagon. Seriously O pisses me the hell off.

Was it the dumbest thing in the history of football? Of course not. Nowhere close. I wouldn’t even call it dumb, but rather a bad non-decision and a missed opportunity.
But we should have called our timeout there. I’m sure O would agree if you talked to him in private ... it was a mistake on our part given the circumstances.
