None of that foundation exists without Gunter, so the agency of "taken" above is a bit of a stretch. It sucks she didn't get to be the one to see it through
It's only fitting that Pokey's first full year as head coach - with Augustus, Johnson, AND Fowles as starters - ended after blowing a 15-point lead to Kim Mulkey on her way to her first championship
