I’m thinking with the deficiencies on offense, a 6th or 7th seed and winning a 1st round matchup would be somewhat disappointing but realistic. Making it to the sweet 16 would be a solid over achievement for this club. Not bad for essentially a whole new roster.

We’re going to lose every game the rest of the way and miss the tournament is what I heard.

A 3-4 seed is realistic IMO

Anything above a 5 seed would be highly disappointing after starting 16-1. We still have one of if not the best D in the country which can take us very far

Even for a 1 seed, elite 8 is most realistic. Too many here we're claiming final four already, a final four usually takes a good team and some luck as well.

I have always felt sweet 16 is realistic for this team, anything more is bonus.

I like our chances to make it to the sweet 16 but I’m not banking on it. We have some issues offensively that will cost us in the tournament. We have no physical big man in the paint and no threat from the perimeter.

NCAA tournament games usually turn into half court basketball.
Not a strong suit for LSU.

So as we continue on our losing streak, you'll have no reason to post since it's what you expect anyway.

2 seed looks like the ceiling, 6 seed is probably the floor.

I said all along it would take us playing these first seven SEC games go get a grip on where we are as a team this year. We are 3-2 now with 2 tough away games coming up. Losing to Arkie really hurts.

It’s the middle of January for a very young team. There’s still a lot of growth to be achieved. Get to the SECChampionship game after finishing in the top four regular season and we’ll be fine.

8 or 9 seed and pray for the sweet 16 is about the ceiling for this team. Shots going to be eye opening the next month or so.

This was a bad loss no doubt. Just not quite bad enough for me to significantly lower my expectations. But after witnessing that thing they call a game today- they are certainly tempered.

Wer’e a 3/5 seed if Pinson gets back by next week. If we can finish 12-6 13-5 in conference which is what I see we may get to 3. That’s legit for what I’ve seen of this group.

You do know we're on the tail end of, by far, the hardest part of our schedule, right?
