It is 2 games

It's 2 games for the rest of the qbs on that list too. Sure it's a small sample size, but the fact that he's at the bottom of most of those categories is eye raising. Maybe not alarming, but it's notable.

His yards per attempt is anemic. I do not see expected improvement. At all. He and the O-line are who they are. Not so good.

Happened right in front of me.. Again Brown is 5’11 and that’s listed. We haven’t had a true dominant outside 6’2-3 guy in two seasons. When your best WRs are slot type dudes, you will have passing struggles.

Stop. They have not been. We were running WIDE OPEN vs Clemson.

Do you think LA TECH has better DBs than Clemson? Did you not watch Nuss COMPLETELY MISS on multiple throws when he had time?

Amen. Savion is a gadget guy but not sure handed enough to be a wr 1. Hilton blew up in the bowl and is from all accounts, healthy. Why not play your best? Brown and Hilton on the edges.

[quote]Nuss looked downfield several times and either checked down, or scrambled and threw away.[/quote

That first INT rattled Nuss. After that he would not take any chances and checked most everything down. He even took 3 sacks where he could have grounded the ball.

They get over the big opening game jitters and the nonchalant don't give a damn nothing burger game.
Tigers come to play.

5 yds/attempt is really really poor though.

What about 6 yds/attempt?

Also, need to look at the WRs. None of the big outside guys are truly dynamic and can get open

They also got to work on catching the damn ball. Several passes hit them in the hands that could have been big plays but they flat dropped them.

Easy. You’re gonna get shite on if you say anything remotely negative about Nuss.

I like Nuss but he’s not mobile enough for an oline of this caliber.

That tells me that the staff or Garrett don’t have faith in our line to give him the time to throw deeper, longer developing routes.

Has more to do with Nuss not being able to accurately throw down field.

But I thought having Hilton available and having the “fastest WR room in the country” would fix our problems of not having a vertical passing threat
Hilton just isn’t a great football player. Forcing him any balls not going to Briwn, AA, Thomas, Anderson for a a mistake

And wheere did Sharp disappear to.

The WRs are open. Nuss just can't find them in time. By the time he does the DBs have time to close.

He really needed chris Hilton to come out this year and be the guy he was towards the end of last year. The guy who can take the top off of a defense consistently. I don't know what's happened to Hilton, but he's damn well not playing anywhere near his potential.

they have multiple WR's that can do with Hilton does. Nuss doesn't struggle because Hitlon doesnt show up.
