1) PP
2) MC
3 & 4) TW and KF, either way, with a slight edge to KF for me to be 3
5) GW
6) DJ, I didn't think his career at LSU was that impressive, he did play better in the last few games at LSU though.
7) Not ranking DS, but as of now, has the best instincts and ball skills. Truly believe, with progression each year, will be the best ever.

Fulton has to be top 3 or 4. I mean it’s hard to even remember he’s on the team right now. Someone said in another thread that people think it’s better to target Stingley instead this year

Sting above P2 already? I think Sting will be tGoat of LSU CBs but that is a bold statement to be making already. Youre talking about a Bednarik Award Winner in P2

#1 if we are looking at complete career for me is Tre White. Dude played 4 years and took a starting role his Freshman year- great Tiger.

Yep. Couldn't agree more.

Tre is one of my all-time favorites along with Dalton.

Fulton is underrated as frick

This.

His side of the field just doesn’t exist to opposing offenses.

Stingley has incredible numbers this year largely because other teams don’t even bother to challenge Fulton.

I know Matthieu was not solely a CB at LSU. Played nickel and even some safety.

But if I could take any of them to play pure CB, I would take him over all of those guys

I disagree.

TM was incredible and had one of the most amazing seasons I have ever seen.

But just as a PURE CORNER he is probably toward the bottom of this list.

The three best Corners in LSU history...and they were on the same team in 2010. The 2010 Secondary had the most talent I've ever seen. You had those three and:

Brandon Taylor, Ron Brooks, Jai Eugene, Karnell Hatcher, Craig Loston, Eric Reid, and Tharold Simon.

1 PP7
2 Tyrann (why didn’t you include him?)
3 Tre White
4 Fulton (Virtual tie with Tre)
5 Mo Claiborne (I said he was drafted too high at the time)
6 Greedy Williams
7 Stingley (He’ll move up a lot in the next two years)
8 Donte (He would be #1 for a lot of teams. It’s an embarrassment of riches at LSU)

Corey Webster has been mentioned. Based on the list I assumed we were not going back so far. If we include Corey I’d slot him in at 6 behind Mo. But if we’re going back in time there are others, like Geno Daniels and Jimmy Britt.

Mo Claiborne at the top of the list.

The Rant is underrating him because of his NFL performance and he wasn't as flashy as some one the other guys. He was a lockdown beast.

Mathieu had the best defensive season I've ever seen a player have. But he wasn't a corner the same way the other guys listed were.

Yes he was. We often lined up in base - two corners, two safeties. When we did he was a corner. When we went to nickle, he was the nickle corner.

Peterson had 7 interceptions his entire time here. Stingley has 6 and leads the SEC in pass breakups

EVERYONE had the sense to avoid the second best corner in the history of college football. Everyone except Saban, who had a generational talent at WR. Saban tried, and he paid a terrible price, as PP7 dominated the incomparable Julio Jones.
