Depends on the kind of crow we are talking about here.
If O can get anywhere near Miles, 1-2 SEC Championships +1-2 more appearances, at least 1 NC in the next 5 years. I will HAPPILY eat crow.
If "Eating crow" means O performs slightly above what I expect him to do, meaning at best a 10-3 season, maybe a bunch of 9-4 seasons and some 8-5/7-6 types seasons. Yeah that's not crow. If O AT HIS BEST does no better than the Miles average, then there is no crow to eat, even if the O fans say it is.

This is exactly what will happen.
Bookmark this post. If LSU wins 7 games this year there will be a decent number of posters claiming he "exceeded expectations". If LSU wins 8 this board will be flooded with posts about how successful this season was.

ya but O deserves a fair chance since Alleva made the call. However ignorant it was naming EdO the HC he still won 9 games n year one. Worst 9 win season I’ve seen but I’m gonna see where we finish this season before I say O can’t get it done
